RNSG 2221 - Management of Client Care

Prerequisites: RNSG 1248, RNSG 2201 and RNSG 2213
Corequisite: RNSG 2263
Exploration of leadership and management principles applicable to the role of the nurse as provider of care, coordinator of care and member of a profession. Includes application of knowledge, judgment, skills and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. Emphasizes multidisciplinary communications and resource management within health care systems. This course lends itself to a blocked approach.

Capstone course; must be taken as the final course in the Associate Degree Nursing Program.
