Successful completion of selected course work also satisfies the academic, clinical and field internship requirements for prospective certification with national Registry of EMTs as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT).

A grade of C or higher is required for satisfactory completion of all courses in this curriculum.

A student seeking entry into the advanced EMSP program must file a specific program application form and complete additional admission procedures as required. Information is available on the EMSP website.

To continue in this program, a student may repeat an individual EMSP course only 1 time and may repeat no more than 3 EMSP courses while enrolled in the program. The term “repeat” shall be interpreted to mean re-enrollment following withdrawal, drop or unsatisfactory grade.
