The following courses are intended for generic baccalaureate degree nursing (BSN) students who plan to take their prerequisite and core curriculum courses at a community college and transfer the block of courses to a general academic teaching institution or health-related institution. Information specific to the institution that a student wishes to transfer can be obtained by contacting the Pre-Nursing Advisor, Pamela George.

General Education Requirements (42 Semester Hours)
Life & Physical Sciences/Institutional - 12 Hours
Students must select EDUC 1100 for the Health Promotion Option or EDUC 1200 for the Nursing Option for a total of 60 credit hours for the program.
Language, Philosophy & Culture - 3 Hours
Social/Behavioral Sciences - 3 Hours
Major Course Requirements (18 Semester Hours)
Health Promotion Option - 18 Hours
Nursing Option - 18 Hours
*One credit from EDUC 1200
Total (60 Semester Hours)
