Major Code - PHED.AS
The physical education curriculum provides basic courses for the first two years of a four-year curriculum leading to a Bachelor of Science degree. Students should plan their program to match the specific requirements of the senior institution of choice. Programs differ significantly. Students must consult with the major advisor for course selection.

Social/Behavioral Sciences - 15 Hours
Natural Sciences - 8 Hours
Lifetime Fitness - 1 Hour
Major Options (22 Semester Hours)
Student should complete one of the following options. Coaching/Officiating Option (22 Semester Hours)
Major advisor will assist student in selection of 12 hours of appropriate courses required by senior institution of choice. These should be in the student’s selected second teaching field. Second teaching fields include: Agriculture, English Language Arts, History, Life Science, Mathematics, Physical Science, Science, Social Studies, or Spanish. Personal Training Option (22 Semester Hours)
Group Exercise Leader Option (22 Semester Hours)
