FORS 2450 - Forensic Science II Prerequisites / Corequisite Prerequisite: FORS 2440 and PSYC 2301
Focuses on criminal predatory behavior responsible for the creation of crime scenes. The student will focus on the defining personality, developmental, neurochemical and physical characteristics of criminal psychopathy utilizing the methodology of documented cases. Brain scans with damage to pre-frontal lobes and/or cerebellum, blunt affect (emotionless expression) and deviant fantasy will be studies. DSM taxonomy of antisocial personality, paranoid schizophrenia and other psycho pathologies will be compared.
