This certificate provides students with a familiarity regarding many aspects of computer software development within the context of building such software, from planning and design all the way to completing and delivering the finished software product. These aspects include, but are not limited to: Server, network and hosting environments, relational and nonrelational databases, how to interact with APIs and the external world, user interface and user experience, quality assurance, and security concerns.
These eight courses will be part of the Code Academy. This certificate also stacks into the COSC.AAS degree.
