The courses in this advanced certificate build on and further the knowledge of the Level 1 certificates. Students concentrate on the integration of design and system integration in the completion of a final project as a class. The focus of the classes are on commercial systems of heating, air condition, residential and commercial plumbing and/or refridgeration, and industrial vs. residential systems. The courses are designed for students to earn credits while on-the-job with eligible employers.
External learning opportunities available during or upon completion of Advanced certificate through internships, apprenticeships, or other applied/work-based options.
