Prepares students for positions requiring advanced technical training in several areas including Electromechanical, HVAC, Instrumentation and Electronics or Renewable Energy. Industrial Fundamentals Certificate must be completed prior to other classes. Amarillo College supports and strongly encourages students to work in their chosen field while enrolled in the program. If a student is employed in an occupation that relates directly to the program content, the College will work closely with the employer to establish co-operative education agreements that can result in credit for any of the courses in this credential. With instructor approval and under guidance from their academic advisor, students can build a cooperative education plan for up to four courses under this certificate or degree plan.
