Amarillo College’s Biotechnology program puts science in your hands! Students master real-world lab skills-including aseptic techniques, using microscopes, preparing solutions and applying advanced technologies such as protein analysis, and Real time and traditional PCR for DNA quantification, electrophoresis, DNA profiling and Bioinformatics. Along the way, you’ll learn data analysis, lab reporting, and presentation skills, preparing you to collaborate with scientists in medicine, microbiology, environmental science, and beyond. Graduate ready to step into the lab and make discoveries that matter!
