SCIT 1307 - Pre Anatomy and Physiology In-depth coverage of the structure and function of the human body. Topics include the cell with specific emphasis on the basic cell structure and its functions, the cell life cycle, cell reproduction and basic cell chemistry. Other topics may include tissues; body organization; and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous and endocrine systems. Emphasis will be on homeostasis.

Notes This course is recommended for allied health, nursing and biology students who lack a foundation in the cell and its functions. This course is non-transferable and is designed for students who need a background in cellular biology.
