IEIR 1343 - Industrial Equipment Maintenance

Maintenance and repair of power transmission systems involving gear, V-belt and chain drives with emphasis on both plain and anti-friction bearings. Introduces theory of various types of pumps and compressors. Laboratory activities include maintenance, repair, lubrication and overhaul procedures used in common process pumps, gear boxes and compressors.
