Application of advanced concepts and skills for the development of the professional nurse’s role in complex nursing situations with adult clients/families with complex health needs involving multiple body systems in intermediate and critical care settings. Emphasis on knowledge, judgment, skills and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. This course lends itself to a blocked approach.
