AELT 0001 - College Transitions: College Readiness

College Transitions is a college and career preparatory class that students are encouraged to take prior to entering an Integrated Education & Training (IET) Course or academic degree program. College Transitions is a course that “transitions” you from where you are now into college. The purpose of the course is to assist students with their academic journey and chosen career path.  The course is approximately eight weeks.  During the course, students will prepare and take the TSI, career-building activities and career explorations, enhance their digital literacy skills with the use of Amarillo College’s online Systems and strengthen their vocational skills. Students developing the workforce, digital, and college readiness skills should be equipped with the tools needed to become successful college students.
