AELE 0025 - ESL for College & Career Readiness - Reading/Writing Integrated High

Prerequisites / Corequisite
Prerequisites: AELE 0023 -OR- CASAS 80 Series Life & Work Reading Scores: 211-235. Course must be taken in conjunction with level-appropriate, integrated ESL for CCR Listening/Speaking class.

Amarillo College’s free, non-credit English as a Second Language (ESL) for College & Career Readiness (CCR) Program is provided through the Adult Education & Literacy Project. It welcomes students from around the world and offers opportunities for people who want or need to learn English to enter post-secondary academic or career training programs. The ESL for CCR - ESL Reading/Writing Integrated High Class provides high-intermediate-level and advanced-level English Language Learners with up to 32 weeks of instruction in academic- and career-focused reading and writing. Additionally, students are taught fundamental mathematics and computer literacy skills.
