AELE 0009 - ESL for College & Career Readiness - Intensive Professional Reentry

Prerequisites:CASAS 980 Series Life & Work Listening Scores: 210-227. / CASAS 80 Series Life & Work Reading Scores: 211-235

Amarillo College’s free, non-credit English as a Second Language (ESL) for College & Career Readiness (CCR) Program is provided through the Adult Education & Literacy Project. It welcomes students from around the world and offers opportunities for people who want or need to learn English to enter post-secondary academic or career training programs. The ESL for CCR Intensive Professional Reentry Class provides foreign college/university-credentialed adults with 8 weeks of specialized English instruction, assistance with the translation and evaluation of post-secondary certificates and transcripts, and enhanced goal-setting and academic and career counseling services.
