WLDG 1375 - Shielded Metal Arc Welding I (SMAW)
Prerequisites / Corequisite
Prerequisite: WLDG 1371 with minimum grade of C
Instruction and practice of equipment inspection, maintenance, repair, and set up for shielded metal arc welding. Instruction and practice in the production of groove welds in all positions on carbon steel using 6010 and 7018 electrodes. Practice and production of assemblies and coupons to be examined and tested according to Section 8 AWS SENSE QC10.
