AELE 0051 - English as a Second Language High Beginning


Speak in a variety of rich conversations and practice listening skills using context clues, retelling, or paraphrasing of ideas to hear and comprehend the spoken message. Engage in speaking situations and settings to increase new vocabulary to express immediate needs. Use a variety of texts to increase comprehension. Make simple inferences, connections, and generate questions by engaging with sophisticated texts that are relatable.  Write simple sentences over texts and write daily to increase accuracy over simple descriptions and brief narratives about a variety of familiar topics.
