VNSG 1119 - Leadership and Professional Development

Prerequisites: RNSG 1533, RNSG 2262, RNSG 1126, RNSG 1128, RNSG 1125, RNSG 1430, RNSG 1161, RNSG 1216, BIOL 2401, BIOL 2402, ENGL 1301, EDUC 1100, HITT 1205

Study of the importance of professional growth. Topics include the role of the licensed vocational nurse in the multi-disciplinary health care team, professional organizations, and continuing education. Students will complete standardized comprehensive exams to prepare for NCLEX-PN.
