WLDG 1371 - Arc Welding Fundamentals

Prerequisites / Corequisite
Prerequisite: WLDG 1370 with minimum grade of C

Instruction and practice of equipment inspection, maintenance, repair, and set up for shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). Instruction and practice in the production of fillet welds in all positions on carbon steel using 6010 and 7018 electrodes.

Hours (SCH): 3 sem hrs
Lecture Hours: 2 lec
Lab or Other Hours: 2 lab
