A certificate of completion is awarded upon successful completion of the curriculum. All of the major requirement courses are to be taken in a sequential order. A grade of C or higher is required for satisfactory completion of all courses in the curriculum.
To continue in the program, students may repeat a PHRA course only one time and may repeat no more than two PHRA courses while enrolled in the program. The term “repeat” shall be interpreted to mean re-enrollment following withdrawal, drop or unsatisfactory grade.
Graduates will be prepared to take the National Certification exam through PTCB or NHA. Applicants for the exam are required to have a high school diploma or GED, successfully completed a training program, and must have no felony convictions.
Students seeking entry into Pharmacy Technology must file a specific program application form and complete additional admission procedures as required. Please refer to the Pharmacy Technology website for more information on certification.
