Prepares students for entry level employment in the health care industry in either acute care, office, clinic or long term care settings. It encompasses multiple certifications including Basic Life Support, Certified Nurse Aide and Patient Care Technician and provides a direct path into the Clinican Medical Assistant and Medical Laboratory Technology programs.
A grade of C or higher is required for satisfactory completion of each course. To continue in the program a student may repeat the major course requirements only one time and may repeat no more than two major courses while enrolled in the program. The term “repeat” shall be interpreted to mean re-enrollment following withdrawal, drop or unsatisfactory grade.
A student seeking entry into the program must file a specific program application form and complete additional admission procedures as required. Information is available on the program website.
Students enrolled in a course(s) in the Level I PCT program will be charged a non-refundable fee of $682.00 for access to the online ATI learning system and ATI review modules. Students enrolled in a nursing course(s) in the Level II PCT program will charged a non-refundable fee of $868.00 for access to the online ATI learning system and AIT review modules.
