Prepares students with the basic skills required of a beginning staff radiologic technologist practicing in radiography (x-ray technology). Upon satisfactory completion of the curriculum, the graduate will be eligible to write the national certification examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
To continue in the program, a student may repeat a RADR course only one time and may repeat no more than two RADR courses while enrolled in the program. The term “repeat” shall be interpreted to mean re-enrollment following withdrawal, drop or unsatisfactory grade. A student will have 36 months to complete all major requirements.
A grade of C or higher is required for satisfactory completion of each course.
A student seeking entry into Radiography must file a specific program application form and complete additional admission procedures as required. Information is available on the Radiography website.
Program Requirements
*All Associate (AA, AS) degrees and Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degrees have a 1 credit hour institutional requirement of EDUC 1100: First Year Seminar.
