Associate in Applied Science
Major Code - LGLA.AAS

Prepares students with the skills and knowledge required to work as a legal assistant in a law office, government agency or corporation under the direct supervision of a practicing attorney.

A grade of C or higher is required for satisfactory completion of all Major Course Requirements and Major Course Options courses. Students having education, training or experience in word processing or keyboarding are encouraged to earn credit by examination for courses listed as RELATED COURSE REQUIREMENTS.

*All Associate (AA, AS) degrees and Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degrees have a 1 credit hour institutional requirement of EDUC 1100: First Year Seminar.
