Contact the Testing Center or the Program Advisor for testing requirements. Testing requirements are based on the unique needs of the certificate program.

Prepares students with the foundation for entry-level employment, and advanced Machining Technology awards.  Amarillo College supports and strongly encourages students to work in their chosen field while enrolled in the program.   If a student is employed in an occupation that relates directly to the program content, the College will work closely with the employer to establish co-operative education agreements that can result in credit for any of the courses in this credential. Students will work closely with their instructors, and academic advisor, to build a cooperative education plan.
