The CIS - Game Design Certificate prepares students to design, develop, and build video games. In addition to the main focus on game development, students can choose to explore programming or graphic design. This certificate is awarded upon the successful completion of the capstone course, Video Game Design.

All major course requirements are to be taken in the order approved by the student’s individual CIS Advisor. The student must have a “C” or higher in all required courses to progress to the next level of the program. To remain eligible for enrollment in subsequent CIS courses, a student may repeat a particular CIS course only once and may repeat only two CIS courses.
