Major Code - GENS.AS

The General Studies major provides flexibility to create a customized degree program for which no other major at Amarillo College meets academic, occupational, or personal development needs. The General Studies degree can be individually designed to enhance workplace skills, to meet specific transfer requirements of senior institutions, and/or to provide a broad spectrum of educational experiences for those who are undecided about a major field of study. Students should consult with a counselor in the Advising andCounseling Center for course advisement.
