Prerequisites: AELE 0002 -OR- TABE CLAS-E Total Listening/Speaking Score: 486+/Total Reading/Writing Score: 483+
Amarillo College’s non-credit English as a Second Language (ESL) Program is provided through the Adult Education & Literacy Program. It welcomes students from around the world and offers opportunities for people who want or need to learn English. The low- intermediate level provides 32 weeks of instruction in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and civics. Additionally, students spend 1 hour per week using a computer-based English language acquisition program.
