AELE 0007 - Pre-High School Equivalency for English Language Learners

Prerequisites / Corequisite
Prerequisites: Concurrent enrollment in AELE 0005 -OR- TABE CLAS-E Total Listening/Speaking Score: 559+/Total Reading/Writing Score: 557+

Amarillo College’s free, non-credit English as a Second Language (ESL) Program is provided through the Adult Education & Literacy Program. It welcomes students from around the world and offers opportunities for people who want or need to learn English. The Pre-High School Equivalency (HSE) Course for English Language Learners (ELLs) provides 16 weeks of instruction in language arts and mathematics for advanced-level ELLs who intend to transition into the College’s HSE program.
