RNSG 1110 - Introduction to Community-Based Nursing

Prerequisites / Corequisite
Prerequisites: RNSG 2201, RNSG 2260, RNSG 2213, RNSG 2161, RNSG 1248 and RNSG 2261
Corequisite: RNSG 2163, RNSG 2231, RNSG 2262, RNSG 2221, RNSG 2263 and Humanities from approved list

Overview of the delivery of nursing care in a variety of community-based settings; application of systematic problem solving processes and critical thinking skills, focusing on the examination of concepts and theories relevant to community-based nursing; and development of judgment, skill and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. This course lends itself to either a blocked or integrated approach.
